SECOND PB IN A MONTH AS A-TEAMERS CONTINUE TO FALL!
Mark Gladwell is enjoying a real purple patch at the moment, picking off his Kent syndicate’s A-teamers at seemingly regular intervals.
His latest capture, however, is the most impressive of his recent run, having smashed a personal best that stood for just a month.
Known as the Anchor and weighing in at 44lb 14oz, the impressive mirror was one of four fish that came Mark’s way over the course of a 24-hour session, the others made up of two low thirties and a mid-twenty.
Mark’s recent run began with the Brown at 40lb 2oz in July, which was followed a couple of weeks later by Top Arthur at 39lb 2oz, before his most recent success.
Bug Corker wafters continue to do the damage, which Mark fishes on D-rigs over a mixture copped Bug and Secret 7 boilies, with a bit of hemp mixed in for good measure.
