Ben Lees defined his latest visit to Earls View Carp Fishery as a “session to remember”, after he smashed his personal best with a mirror that goes by the name of Tyson.
The 28-year-old civil engineer, who also had two twenties over the course of his stay on the Shropshire day-ticket water, landed the new personal best of 33lb following a 15-minute tussle after it had picked up his Secret 7 bottom bait.
Targeting the margins proved to be the most effective tactic for Ben, fishing amongst a mixture of 15mm S7 freebies and matching S7 pellets.
