SIGNING OFF BEST SEASON EVER!
Roger Bacon signed off his best season ever on Grenville Lake with a four-catch, capped by a 41lb 15oz mirror.
This memorable season has yielded countless forties, numerous fifties and Roger’s first-ever sixty, the latter coming back in February.
Though this final session of the season didn’t quite such heights, Roger was able to add one more forty to his tally and did lose a fish in the middle of the night that he believes was one of the big girls!
All Roger’s fish came over a 20kg bed of mixed-sized Bug freezer bait that he had had pre-soaked in Bug Liquid Food for two days in advance. Then over the top of his baited area, he used Pink Peril pop-ups on long blow-back rigs.
