STALKING ’EM OUT ON THE SMOKE!
Joe Tyson did the leg work and got his rewards on his latest visit to Embryo’s South Ings syndicate in East Yorkshire, using the Amino Smoke to deadly effect to stalk seven fish to 29lb 3oz.
The pick of the session was with a 29lb 3oz scaly mirror known as Floppy Tail, which was backed up by four others twenties to 26lb 4oz and a couple of mid-doubles.
The 33-year-old from Hull said: “After a few laps of the lake, I found a few fish held up in a couple of areas. With the rods still in the van, I went about feeding a few likely areas close in with 8mm Bug boilies covered in Bug Amino Smoke.
“Approximately 20k steps later walking around the lake, I checked the spot and saw the fish had really got their heads down on the bait! I got the staking rod out the van and deployed a little solid bag pumped with Bug Amino Smoke and that afternoon had three fish, topped by Floppy Tail at 29lb 3oz.
“On the second day, the fish had clearly done the off and there weren’t many opportunities to nick a bite. On the third morning, I woke up before first light and started doing a few laps. I found some fish tucked into a corner and managed to take another three using exactly the same tactics, topped by a nice common.”
Inside his solid bags of Crayfish Mini Mix, Insect Meal and Bug Amino Smoke, Joe used Bug Corker wafters for hookbaits.
