START AS YOU MEAN TO GO ON
A stunning common that kick-started an amazing spell of action for Olly Sanders over on Horton’s Boat Pool.
Known as Koi Tips, the fish was the first of three that came in relatively quick succession after Olly had moved into a swim where he had seen a number of fish held up amongst rafts of floating weed.
Olly cast as tight as possible to the floating rafts, fishing with Bug Half Tones pop-ups, and baited over the top with a scattering of Bug freebies.
Olly would go on to have a number of fish from this swim, which we’ll be able to share with you in the coming weeks.
