SUPERWATER GIVES DAN NEW PB OF 75LB 12OZ!

Dan Abbasian didn’t quite bag the world record he promised us on his visit to Euro-Aqua in Hungary, but he did at least come away having set a new personal best with a beast of a common!

Dan shared a 31-fish hit with his angling partner during their week-long session on the world-record venue, with Dan tempting the biggest common of the week in the form of the 75lb 12oz enormadon, which was backed up by many other units to mid-fifties.

Regular baiting with Secret 7, Bug and house pellets, and lots of maggots, which Dan coated in Crayfish Hydro Spod Syrup to get them through the silvers, kept the fish returning to the spot.

At the business end, Dan used 10mm PB pop-ups tipped with maggots, which he dipped in Amino Smoke and then coated in Insect Meal before casting out.
