SWAN VALLEY BUG MUNCHER!
A 7kg introduction of Bug boilies helped turn around John Harrop’s latest Swan Valley session within the space of an hour!
No sooner had he put the bait out than John was doing battle with a cracking 32lb 6oz mirror, which was followed a short while later by a mid-twenty common.
“After a really tough session this week, things came together on the final night,” said John.
“I had been baiting quite lightly (for me) and knew I needed to change something. The fish were all on the top and as zigs are banned I decided to try and pull them down. Out went around 7kg Bug boilies that had been living in the Bug Liquid Food and had then been coated heavily in the Insect Meal. A PB pop-up was put over the top and an hour later I had a 32lb 6oz mirror in the net that started passing Bug all over the mat.
“This was then followed by a mid-twenty common. A big shout out to Ricardo on the camera!”
