The big winds of last week really stirred things up across the country, particularly on the big lakes, such as A1 Pit 6!
Neil Wigman braved the conditions and got his reward when a magnificent-looking common known as Jurgen turned up in the middle of the storm, weighing in at 38lb 12oz.
The 49-year-old from Mansfield, who also had a 19lb common, was fishing at 80 yards with a Milky Malt pop-up on a Ronnie rig over a bed of Bug freebies soaked in Bug Amino Smoke and Bug Hydro Spod Syrup.
