TATTERSHALL’S LAKE-RECORD FISH ON FINAL MORNING!
Lee Henderson rounded off a memorable family holiday at Tattershall Lakes with the capture of the venue’s lake-record fish on the final morning of his stay!
Though down from its lake-record weight of 39lb, the spawned-out 34lb 12oz mirror was Lee’s reward for prebaiting a spot with six kilos of 15mm Bug boilies treated with Bug Liquid Food and Insect Meal over the course of a few days.
“To be honest, most of my time was spent with the family doing activities during the day, with very little in the way of fishing,” said Lee.
“I had found two decent spots on the first day of arrival and had been prebaiting them every day. I finally managed to get the rods out for a few hours the morning before coming home and not long after doing so I was rewarded with a lovely 34lb 12oz mirror, a fish that did the lake record at 39lb just last year!”
A PB pop-up attached to a Ronnie rig and a helicopter set-up fished over the baited area was enough to trigger the bite.
