Tees Valley Lakes in the North East continues to go from strength to strength, throwing up another 30-pounder and a personal best to Peterlee-based carper, Kris Kamara.

The 34-year-old supervisor managed three fish in total during his 36-hour session, the highlight being the capture of the 32lb 1oz Wakey, which he backed up with fish of 29lb and 22lb 8oz.

All three fish were caught on solid bags on the top of a bar, with hookbaits being PB wafters tipped with maggots.
