THE BIGGEST FISH IN FOX LAKE – 69LB 2OZ!

A 15-fish hit, a new personal best and the biggest fish in the lake is the summation of a brilliant week’s sport for Billy Morris when he visited Fox Lake on the Abbey Lakes complex.

After coming out fourth in the draw, Billy opted for swim 13, which certainly didn’t prove to be an unlucky number, as his catch would be topped by the mighty New Year’s Fish at a massive, PB-busting 69lb 2oz!

Not only that, Billy also landed a mid-fifty, four forties, six thirties, two twenties and a double.

Billy targeted spots in a bay down to his left and both the far and near margins, where he baited with beds of SLK mini dumbbells and chops, all soaked in BetaStim, SLK Hydro Spod Syrup and, of course, the SLK Amino Smoke, along with some hemp and maize.

Over the top of his baited area, Billy presented small PB wafter hookbaits.
