THE BUG HITS THE SPOT ON CHURCH LAKE
Dean Strevett managed to find one of the rare clear spots on Kevin Nash’s ultra-weedy Church Lake and was rewarded with two lovely fish to low thirties.
Both of Dean’s fish came off the same spot at 8 wraps and both to the same bait, an 18mm Bug hookbait fished amongst 50 Bug freebies per fish.
A common of 31lb 4oz and a beautiful scaly mirror of 26lb 8oz completed a challenging but rewarding few days’ fishing.
