THE CHERRY ON TOP OF THE BIRTHDAY CAKE!

A trip to the Cotswolds to celebrate his mate’s 60th birthday saw Jon Bassham steal the show somewhat, after snaring a 36lb 6oz chunk of a mirror!
The lads were fishing on the Cherry Lakes complex in the Cotswold Water Park, a venue renowned for some lovely scaly carp amidst beautiful surroundings.
Jon tempted his fish from a silty gully at 80 yards, where he offered a PB pop-up tipped with maggots amongst a bed of chopped Bug boilies and pellets.
