THE HUNT FOR THE BIG ‘UN IS ON!
Graeme Cheetham is fishing hard at the moment, as he tries to track down one of the Gaunts Lake units.
After doing four nights in a swim the lake’s big ’un has been caught from before, Graeme decided a move was on the cards, so he upped sticks and set up elsewhere.
Within two hours, he had landed a 34lb 15oz mirror and followed it with seven 20-pounders over the course of the next few days.
All Graeme’s fish gave themselves up to 15mm SLK wafters, fished over a mixture of 12mm SLK and Bug freebies.
