THE SMOKE IS THE NEW EDGE FOR ME!
Dave Ash says he’s found a special new edge in his angling, after Smoking out a couple of thirties on his return to his Oxfordshire syndicate.
Despite not fishing for a few weeks, Dave had still been busy preparing his hookbaits by soaking them in Amino Smoke for a week, and they came up trumps for him, yielding mirrors of 36lb 15oz and 33lb 6oz.
Dave said: “After a couple of weeks off, I was back on the Oxfordshire syndicate for the weekend.
“I had purchased the Bug Amino Smoke and had put a good helping of it into my tub of 15mm Bug Hard Hookers, leaving them to soak for a week. I also added the Bug Amino Smoke to my Spomb mix of crushed and whole 12mm and 15mm Bug boilies, combined with Calanus Hydro, Insect Meal and a couple of scoops of my particle mix.
“As you can see, I was pretty happy with the result, a cracking linear of 33lb 6oz along with a mirror of 36lb 15oz. The Smoke is the new edge for me! Long may it continue.”
