THE UK’S BIGGEST COMMON JUST LOVES DNA!

Waterside Fishery’s Big Common has been back on the bank recently and back in the hands of an angler using DNA Baits.
Currently and comfortably the largest common in the UK, the colossal fish weighed in at 66lb 8oz on this occasion, the exact same weight as when landed by fellow DNA user, Kieran Duff, back in the spring.
This time the angler was Dan Woods, who has enjoyed a fantastic year on DNA products, also landing two fifties and three forties from the Elphicks complex, with this capture the undoubted icing on top of the cake.
Dan told us: “I caught him on a PB pop-up whittled down to make it a wafter, coupled with a solid bag of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets. I think it’s been caught a few times on DNA!
“I have had a very, very good year on your baits so far!”
By our calculations, this is at least the third time the fish has been caught on DNA in 2024, on top of many previous captures prior to this year.
Some fish just know quality when they see it!
A huge congratulations to Dan on the capture and to Waterside for producing such an amazing open-access fish.
