Going in heavy with the bait at the start of the session paid dividends for Luke Williams when he plotted up on Embryo Angling Norton Disney’s Billy’s Lake.

Targeting a spot out towards the middle, Luke introduced an initial 5kg mixture of Secret 7 mini dumbbells, 15mm Bug boilies, corn and maize and within an hour had banked a mega 32lb 2oz scaly and a mid-double!

Introducing eight Spombs after each bite kept the fish coming, with highlights including mirrors to 22lb 8oz and a lovely 25lb 8oz linear.
