Lawrence Huff made the most of four days on the bank to enjoy his best-ever session on the Quarry syndicate in Essex, a catch that included two thirties to 32lb and six twenties to 27lb 12oz.
The 51-year-old from Noak Bridge got a couple of spots going, one against an island at 110 yards and the other an open-water gravel spot, where he baited with a mixture of 12mm and 15mm Bug and Secret 7 boilies soaked in Bug Liquid Food.
At the business end, Loz used Secret 7 Hard Hookers tipped with 10mm PB pop-ups, a presentation that accounted for all his fish.
