TWO PBS IN 12 HOURS TOPPED BY 70LB+ GIANT!
A tough week in France all came good in the final 12 hours for Earl Knights, with back-to-back personal bests culminating in a giant of a mirror that tipped the scales at 70lb 8oz!
“I kept at it and in the final 12 hours got what I worked so hard for, two personal bests on the bounce,” said Earl.
“The first fish came late on the last afternoon, a 58lb 8oz mirror that I was buzzing with! It was dark by the time I got the rod back on the spot, but I was full of confidence now!
“At 5am, that rod was away again and once it was in the net I was lost for words. Weighing in at 70lb 8oz, it obliterated my short-lived PB and was the reward for all the hard work.
“Both fish were caught over a mix of SLK and Secret 7 boilies soaked in Fish Hydro liquid. My hookbaits were pimped-up Fruitylicious wafters, which I have so much faith in.”
