TWO PBS IN 24 HOURS ON BERNERS HALL!
Soldier Ben Bentley broke his personal best twice in the space of 24 hours during a recent Armed Forces competition at Berners Hall Fishery in Essex.
Ben and his partner recorded an eight-fish catch during the event, with the highlights being a PB-breaking 35lb 6oz common, swiftly followed the next day by another new PB of 36lb 2oz, a lovely heavily scaled mirror.
Ben opted for a solid-bag approach, fishing pink Secret 7 Half Tones wafters amongst a small parcel of BetaStim Mini Mix pellets.
Five of the fish came to bags cast at showing fish, while the rest fell over a bed of Secret 7 boilies, Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets, hemp and corn, all smothered in S7 Hydro Spod Syrup.
