TWO THIRTIES IN 14-FISH SWANBOROUGH HAUL!
Gary Thomson put in the time and got the rewards on his latest visit to Swanborough Lakes in East Sussex, landing two thirties as part of a 14-fish haul.
The 54-year-old chef invested five days into the session, which meant he could really get the fish on The Bug – and they absolutely loved it!
Thirties are quite rare on this venue, but Gary had two, mirrors of 36lb and 30lb, on the same night, coming from a marginal spot near the lilies.
Gary fished with 15mm Bug Hard Hookers tipped with halved Bug Corker pop-ups amongst a bed of crushed and whole Bug boilies absolutely covered in Bug Hydro Spod Syrup.
Gary’s other fish weighed between 12lb and 22lb 8oz.
