WELL WORTH THE JOURNEY!
Cathal Abram from Northern Ireland got the personal best his journey warranted when he travelled over to West Yorkshire to fish the Approach Fisheries.
The 38-year-old scaffolder was up against it weather-wise, but a move of swim saw him pick off a 43lb mirror from the Trout Lake on the final night of his stay.
The bite came to a Bug Corker wafter fished on a slip-D rig on a shallow bar at 30 wraps, where he had baited with 12mm Bug boilies and Bug pellets, all soaked in Bug Amino Smoke and coated in Insect Meal.
