WHEN IN DOUBT, CHUCK A MILKY MALT OUT!

Mozza has always been of the opinion that if you are doubt, you should chuck a Milky Malt out, which is exactly what Dave Gostelow did over the weekend and it paid within five minutes!

With the fishing proving tough on Monks Pits over the weekend, Dave concentrated his efforts on trying to get a take off the top. After changing hookbaits a number of times, his final throw of the dice was a trimmed-down 12mm Milky Malt pop-up. Lo and behold, within five minutes it had been snaffled by a stunning 33lb scaly.

Dave also managed another 30-pounder during the session, this one falling to a piece of black foam soaked in Sticky Sweet and Bug Intense Booster.
