WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS…
The Ashby Ville syndicate in North Lincolnshire has a new lake record to celebrate, coming courtesy of a blossoming common edging ever closer to the magical 40lb mark!
Known as the Lemon Common, it weighed in at a record-busting 39lb 6oz for its captor, Ian Leedham, who also manged a couple of mid-twenties and a double during his session.
All four of Ian’s fish succumbed to Bug Corker pop-ups that he had pimped up with the Bug Intense Booster.
He fished his rigs over two scoops of bait per fish, a mixture that consisted of chopped Bug boilies and fishery pellets.
