Woodland original on first session!
Rob Morey from Lincoln got off the mark on the first trip on his new water, Woodland Waters in Ancaster, with one of the lake’s originals.
Rob said: “After the gates opened at 8am, I found a few fish exploring the snags in shallows. I walked around and baited as quietly as possible by hand with a light scattering of whole and chopped Secret 7 baits.
“I then cast a single S7 wafter tight up to the spot and fewer than 30 minutes later, I was rewarded with this stunning old original mirror of 21lb 10oz.”
