18-FISH HAUL ON SANDMARTIN!

Josh Rutter will resume his quest for Sandmartin’s 50lb-plus common known as Tilly later this summer after his recent Bluebell session was cut short due to spawning – but not before he’d landed 18 fish to 40lb 4oz!

As well as a 40lb-plus common, Josh also had three thirties, with the rest made up of twenties and the odd upper double.

Solid bags were the key for Josh, which he packed with Crayfish Mini Mix pellets and Insect Meal powder and used 12mm PB pop-ups for hookbaits. He then baited over the top with Bug and Secret 7 chops, hemp and maize.
