MAKE SPRING COUNT!

A prolific spring campaign landing some stunning, old, scaly mirrors on a Suffolk syndicate has resulted in the capture of the largest fish in the lake at 41lb 11oz for Andrew Murphy.
“Key for me has been my trusted 18mm Bug Corker pop-ups, soaked in Bug Bait Soak and covered in Insect Meal, ensuring they stand out from the freebies. Using this tactic, I had already caught two fish of 32lb, a 34-pounder and two 36-pounders, but my most recent session saw me achieve something beyond my wildest dreams – the biggest in the lake!”

Perry Alabaster was absolutely tanking ’em on Monks Pit in spring, landing 38 fish in just four sessions!
Perry said: “Since first using the Crayfish Hydro Spod Syrup and the Amino Smoke liquids in conjunction with my usual tactic of fishing over Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets, chopped S7 boilies and hemp, my catch rate has gone through the roof, with 38 fish so far in my past four sessions!”

Everybody loves the Amino Smoke in spring and the fish clearly feel the same way!
Chris Reilly enjoyed the most remarkable spring campaign on his Embryo syndicate.
He said: “I managed a double take, with the first going 34lb 8oz and the second going 34lb 12oz – another brace of thirties! It has been a crazy couple of weeks’ angling; they are definitely on this Amino Smoke!”
Chris baited a spot with 15mm Secret 7 boilies soaked in S7 Liquid Food and then covered in S7 Amino Smoke, and then fished 15mm S7 Corker pop-ups on Ronnie rigs over the top.

Secret 7 never lets me down,” Earl Knights told us after he added a few more gems to his collection.
Suffolk-based Earl had a great spring on the ‘Mere’ and was confident of ticking a few more fish off this most-wanted list on the S7 in the lead-up to summer, when fishmeals really do come into their own.

The Bug just keeps on working,” Grant Robinson told us, after he bagged himself another impressive common from his Essex syndicate water!
Having rejoined this particular venue, the 37-year-old tattoo artist had a great spring, landing a string of fish before getting amongst the big ’uns, with this 39lb 4oz common the highlight of the campaign.

It was a moment he’d dreamed of since joining Monks Pit, Steve Haylett admitted after landing a new PB – the venue’s prized Black Spot at 56lb 8oz — as part of a six-fish catch that also included two thirties to 37lb and three twenties.

“With spring here, I was full of optimism,” said Steve, who fished Candy Stick zigs soaked in Molasses. After an early-morning recast, the rod was away within 20 minutes. The fight was savage and wiped out my other lines. When Rory netted it and said, ‘You’ve caught Black Spot,’ I was in shock. It was a moment I’d dreamed of since joining.”

Spring is all about the Amino Smoke for Paul Baskerville, who has bagged some lovely old carp from his syndicate utilising this amazing liquid.
“Spring has continued on a good note for me, with more fish falling for The Bug soaked in Bug Amino Smoke. On my latest session, I tripped up an elusive original as dark and as old as the hills using an ever-faithful Bug Half Tones pop-up soaked in the Bug Amino Smoke. There will be some real old pretty originals to follow, I’m sure.”
