WHAT IS IT LIKE TO RUN YOUR OWN LAKE?
Almost a decade ago, Paul Mallinson and his friend took on a lease for a 60-acre venue on the south bank of the River Humber in North Lincolnshire. Though seen as a dream of many carp anglers to have their own lake, Barrow Mere has been very much a labour of love for Paul and his colleague, but they are now beginning to see the rewards of their hard work and dedication. In this interview, Paul tells us exactly how it all came about and how the lake has progressed under his stewardship.
