40 CARP IN THREE OVERNIGHTERS!
Rod Underwood has taken his tally on his local syndicate to a massive 40 fish in just three overnighters, following another successful visit!
Rod’s 40th fish from the lake turned out to be one of the lake’s A-team, the much-sought-after Big Red at 31lb 8oz.
Fishing three rods on a spot, Rod fished with home-rolled Bug cork-ball pop-ups amongst a regularly topped-up bed of Bug boilies. Rod started with 12-15 Spombs of Bug freebies, then introduced another three Spombs every 30-45 minutes, which would generally trigger a bite.
