With some good conditions forecast over the Easter weekend, Chris Reilly from Watford had hoped for something special when he turned up to his Embryo syndicate – and he didn’t leave disappointed!
After targeting a spot just off some reeds, the 38-year-old’s trap of a PB pop-up on a hinged stiff rig fished amongst a mixture of Bug and Secret 7 boilies was sprung the following morning by a fantastic 42lb 2oz mirror.
“It was the loveliest of times,” said Chris in the aftermath of his memorable Easter session.
