Tony Payne couldn’t resist giving his dedicated winter water a go much early than planned and didn’t have to wait long before he’d landed his first fish – just 20 seconds, in fact!
Embryo’s Pumphouse Lake is situated in the middle of a business park in Peterborough and holds some lovely mirrors, as it typical for a lot of the Embryo waters, one of which snaffled Tony’s Secret 7 Hard Hooker within seconds of it hitting the lakebed!
The second of Tony’s two fish also succumbed to a Secret 7 Hard Hooker, fished amongst a scattered of S7 freebies.
