BACK-TO-BACK FORTIES ON MONKS!
The success just keeps on coming for John Payne over on Monks Pit, with yet another forty gracing his net on his latest visit to the Cambridgeshire syndicate.
John topped a six-fish catch with his fourth forty of the year, a 40lb 4oz mirror known as Sovereign, making it back-to-back forties following his capture of Bailey at 42lb 8oz on his previous visit.
John kept faith with his bait formation of chopped and whole 12mm, 15mm and 18mm Bug and Secret 7 boilies soaked in BetaStim and Salmon Oil and then dusted in Insect Meal, to which he added some Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets for good measure.
At the business end, John used 15mm Bug Hard Hookers tipped with Bug Half Tones pop-ups.
