FIRST-EVER THIRTIES JUST 20 MINUTES APART!

A crazy 20-minute spell saw Richard Tilburn break his personal best on two separate occasions with his first-ever 30-pounders whilst fishing up at Tees Valley Lakes in the North East.

The 36-year-old builder was buzzing to tempt his first thirty when a 31lb 3oz mirror turned up in his net, yet just 20 minutes after returning the fish, his other rod ripped off with another new PB on the end, this time a 32-pounder!

“I’m absolutely over the moon, said Richard. “This combo I’m using is getting me some unbelievable results.”

Richard, who also had three other fish to 27lb 6oz during his stay, targeted a bar that runs down the middle of the lake, where he offered Bug wafters inside bags of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets amongst a bed of 8mm Bug boilies and Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets, all heavily soaked in Bug Liquid Food.
