FROM SURVIVING TO THRIVING
We welcome a brand-new week with a lovely mid-twenty common courtesy of Chloe Willis from Bury, her latest capture from Carcus Lake in Lancashire.
Known as the Crouch Common, apparently this fish was rescued as a five-pounder from Coffin Lodge 18 years ago following an oxygen crash and moved to Carcus, where it is now thriving.
Chloe tempted the fish from a spot under an overhanging tree, where she offered a pink Bug Half Tones hookbait on a slip-D rig amongst a bed of pellets.
