Martyn Davies not only landed this stunning fully scaled mirror from a private syndicate water but also set a new lake record in the process.
The 43-year-old welder tempted the 31lb 8oz record-breaker from a hole in some weed at 10.5 wraps, where he had pre-baited with five kilos of Bug boilies that been soaking in Calanus Hydro for three days, combined with some particles.
A Bug Corker pop-up pre-soaked in Bug Bait Soak fished over the baited spot did the bite for Martyn.
