MAJOR TRIUMPH – 59LB 8OZ KENT GIANT!
Mark Gladwell’s recent run of success on a Kent syndicate had all been leading up to this moment, the capture of a fish of a lifetime, the magnificent Major at 59lb 8oz!
The Essex-based angler has enjoyed a fantastic season on this particular venue, landing a number of the lake’s most-sought-after residents, so it was perhaps fitting that his mission would culminate in his best session so far, with two twenties, three thirties and the Major coming his way over the course of 24 hours.
Mark had only recently changed over to Secret 7 for the remainder of the season and the fish’s response was clear to see, with two bites coming his way on his first attempt and a further six during this particular session!
S7 Corker wafters fished on D-rigs in the margins accounted for all of Mark’s fish, presented over a regularly replenished bed of chopped S7 freebies and some hemp.
