We’ve finally succeeded in getting DNA director, Steve Carrie, in front of the cameras to demonstrate his approach to day-ticket angling, focusing on two key components – keeping mobile and bait!

Steve heads to Embryo’s Norton Disney in North Lincolnshire, one of the most popular and busiest venues in the North.

Steve is never afraid to up sticks and move swim if he thinks there is a better opportunity elsewhere, even on venues where swim availability is limited, like Norton Disney.

He explains his thought process behind swim selection, factoring in both weather conditions and angling pressure. Once you get on the fish, giving them a bait they want to eat and something that stands out from the anglers in the next-door swims can make all the difference, which is why you aren’t going to want to miss Steve’s killer edges with liquids and ‘Bug balls’.
