Matty Whitworth was quite rightly chuffed with his latest result from his syndicate water, not only because it was one of the best-looking fish in the lake, but also because it was a capture he made happen.
Having woken up at first light and seeing a fish show just off his baited spot, Matty wound in a rod, attached a glugged Bug Corker wafter and cast to the spot where the fish had showed.
He didn’t have long to wait before he was cradling this magnificent zip linear of 33lb 4oz.
