NEW PRODUCTS COMBINE TO TEMPT 42-POUNDER!
Dave Ash put two of our newest products to the test on his latest visit to his Oxfordshire syndicate water and came away having bagged himself one of the lake’s 40-pounders!
“My syndicate had been closed for flooding for a number of weeks, so as soon as it reopened I planned a weekend session,” said Dave.
“I was armed with my newly purchased Crayfish Hydro Spod Syrup, which I added to the Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets, finishing off the spod mix with some whole and crushed Bug boilies. I also had the new yellow and orange Bug Half Tones wafters, which I planned to use on at least one rod.
“The first 24 hours were very quiet, apart from a couple of pick-ups from the coots, so I changed to an orange Bug Half Tones wafter. The next morning, the orange hookbait was picked up and I was into a slow, hard-fighting fish. After a hair-raising fight that saw me have to don my waders at one point to free the line from an overhanging branch, I slid the net under a cracking 42lb 4oz mirror.”
