PHIL’S LAKE RECORD TUMBLES 4 DAYS INTO 2022
Stuart Simmonds was just four sessions into his winter ticket on Embryo’s Phil’s Lake when he not only broke his personal best but set a new lake record in the process.
Fishing the Abingdon venue a few days into the New Year, Stuart rigged up with a Pink Peril wafter on a D-rig, accompanied by a small bag of crumbed-up Bug boilies. He fished his offering over two Spombs of Bug crumb and got his reward with a common known as the Big L, weighing in at a massive 38lb 6oz!
