After returning from a trip to Etang Negreloube in France that saw him set a new personal best with a massive mirror of 61lb 12oz, Aaron Heath wasted little time getting back out on the bank in the UK, where his good fortune continued!
Setting up for a 72-hour session, the Wrexham-based rod kicked off his trip with a UK PB-busting 37lb 8oz mirror that he swiftly followed with another mirror of 33lb 6oz.
Solid bags were the key to Aaron’s latest personal best, with pink Bug Half Tones wafters fished amongst a mixture of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets and Krill Meal. Aaron kept the spot topped up with a throwing stick, putting out 15mm and 18mm Bug boilies that he had pre-soaked in Bug Hydro Spod Syrup.
