SLEEPLESS NIGHT OF ACTION ON FULL MOON!
After a long spell away from the bank, an overnighter on the Full Moon saw BAF International’s Nermin Caro endure a sleepless night’s action on a large German gravel pit!
Under the glow of the moon, Nermin would bank five fish from six bites, culminating in the capture of a remarkable common that weighed in at 59lb 1oz (26.8kg).
Nermin said: “After a long time away from the bank, I finally grabbed the chance to do an overnight session on one of my syndicate waters!
“It was a Full Moon, which I knew very well could be extremely productive for this huge gravel pit. So, after a long day at work, I loaded my gear into the car and an hour later arrived at last light. Perfect, no one else was fishing!
“Because I could fish easily from my car, all I had to do was sort out my two rods. I fed 3kg of mixed 22mm and 26mm Secret 7 boilies on small clear spots I knew from previous sessions and fished over the top with double 18mm Secret 7 Corker wafters that had been soaking in SLK Liquid Food for a long time!
“A crazy and sleepless night ended for me with five carp caught and one lost. This is the biggest one from the crazy Full Moon night!”
