ST JOHN’S THIRTIES HAT-TRICK!
The Bug continues to terrorise carp stocks across the UK, with the latest venue to succumb to its pulling power being St John’s Pool on the Linear Fisheries complex.
James Morgan went armed with a mixture of 12mm Bug boilies, which he combined with some crushed Secret 7 boilies, and coated the lot in a good amount of Bug Hydro Spod Syrup.
He baited an area and fished trimmed-down PB pop-ups tipped with a cluster of maggots and was rewarded with a trio of thirties, a 30lb common and mirrors of 32lb 7oz and 31lb.
James added: “By far the best bait I’ve ever used! I’ve been on S7 for about two years now and I’ve recently tried out The Bug and it doesn’t fail!”
