SUCCESS FROM THE START ON THE SMOKE!
Rob Smith decided to take advice from our field testers and incorporate the new Bug Amino Smoke into his mix for his latest session on a tricky venue he has been targeting containing an unknown stock!
Despite bites usually being few and far between on this particular water, Rob came away with a six-fish catch and is now absolutely brimming with confidence in this exciting new product.
“Fishing a venue with unknown stock, confidence is key, so my approach would be a simple one, with the added addition of the new Bug Amino Smoke,” said Rob.
“Having read a write-up about its pulling powers from some field testers, it was only right I tried it myself. Dousing the Crayfish Mini Mix pellets with Bug Liquid Food and the Amino Smoke, my hopes were high, and it didn’t take long before the baiting approach had worked, starting off with a beautiful 16-pounder, shortly followed by a fish of 27lb 7oz.
“Confidence was high and after repeating this approach in two new areas, the fish kept on coming. Five more bites followed, with me landing four, the biggest being a pristine 31lb 2oz thick-set common.
“It’s safe to say the field testers were right; another product to add to the armoury!”
At the business end, Rob used multi-rigs baited with 12mm Bug Half Tones pop-ups.
