TARGET ACHIEVED ON FIRST TIME USING DNA!
John Foster is absolutely brimming with confidence for the year ahead, after landing one of his big target mirrors from Frimley Pit 3 on his first session of the year and first time out using DNA!
The 56-year-old from Camberley said he specifically chose the SLK to try and target the lake’s big mirrors in a lake full of commons and hit the ground running, bagging a mirror of 41lb 1oz at the very first attempt after moving swims on to showing fish.
John rigged up with a Milky Malt pop-up on a soft hinged rig and fished to some firm silt where the fish had been showing, introducing approximately 30 SLK freebies around his rig.
John said: “This was my first session of the year and my first time out with DNA Baits. A great confidence boost on a new bait specifically chosen to try and the target big mirrors on a lake full of big commons.”
