TARGET BAGGED ON FIRST SESH WITH AMINO SMOKE!
We did tell you the Amino Smoke was a bit special!
Colin Quarterman will no doubt back us on that claim, as he finally ended his quest for his target fish on his very first session using the Smoke!
The 42lb 4oz Oxfordshire club-lake mirror had been top of Colin’s most-wanted list for a couple of years, but until this particular session it had always managed to resist his offerings. Enter the Amino Smoke!
The 42-year-old said: “I have been fishing the lake for a couple of years whilst trying to target the lake’s big girl. I had to work my way through the stock, catching carp to 34lb 4oz, but she had always evaded me, until the first time out with the Amino Smoke in my armoury, when I nailed her at first light on the final morning of the trip!
“It was a blistering take and the most powerful battle of my life, but eventually a new PB was in the bottom of my net, all down to a mixture of skill, luck, watercraft and a huge does of Smoke. What a brilliant addition to the DNA range. Thanks to all at DNA!”
Colin, who had a number of fish to low thirties during his session, fished with pink Bug Half Tones pop-ups on Ronnie rigs over a mixture of 15mm Bug freebies coated in Bug Amino Smoke, with some Bug Hydro Spod Syrup and Krill Meal added to delay the cloud effect.
