‘The Mindset’ returns for the first time in two years, as we once again turn our focus to the pursuit of big carp and the mindset required to target them. In the first episode of the new series, we catch up with a hugely successful angler and the man behind ‘Vinny’s Vlog,’ Vinny Pritchard, recently known for the captures of two of the Girton Pit A-team in the space of a few weeks back in 2019, after coming off the back of a prolific campaign on the Manton complex in Lincolnshire, where he rattled through the majority of the venue’s most-coveted residents. Vinny explains why bait and location are the two most important aspects of his angling, the “brain space” needed to target specific fish, and why he can’t afford to let himself be influenced by moon phases or weather conditions.
