TWO FIFTIES IN 18-FISH SECRET GARDEN HAUL!
Jason Dowling has recently returned from the most amazing week spent in the company of his family at the Secret Garden in France, a week that saw him land his first-ever fifty and lots of good back-up fish as part of an 18-fish haul!
Jason, in fact, managed two 50-pounders over the course of his stay, a 53lb mirror and a 50lb 8oz common, which were joined on the bank by eight forties, six thirties, a 28-pounder and a little stockie.
Jason got through loads of Bug over the course of his stay, baiting with 12mm and crumbed Bug boilies, Bug pellets, Crayfish Maxi and Mini Mix pellets, rock salt and hemp, all soaked in lashings of Calanus Hydro and Bug Hydro Spod Syrup. Over the top, he fished 12mm Pink Perils pop-ups, which the fish seemed to love!
