UK FIFTY ON GUEST APPEARANCE!
Despite enjoying a successful autumn campaign on his northern syndicate water, Matt Whitworth couldn’t turn down an invite to fish a water down in Cambridgeshire – and what a guest appearance it turned out to be!
Over the course of his session, Matt managed to pick off two fish for his efforts, the highlight being a real hippo of a mirror that tipped the scales at a massive 51lb 10oz, much to Matt’s delight.
Just for good measure, Matt completed the session with another mirror of 36lb 6oz.
Matt opted to fish all three rods on a baited area comprising a mixture of Bug and Switch freezer baits in 8mm and mini dumbbells, hemp and corn, all of which he had soaked in Calanus Hydro and Bug Hydro Spod Syrup.
He received the bites on glugged Bug Corker wafters fished over the baited area.
