YORKSHIRE GEM FOR DNA STAFFER!
Though much of the talk is about The Bug at the moment, our big-carp bait, SLK, will always have a habit of picking out the special ones, a fact not lost on DNA staffer Tony Gaskin.
Tony has been focusing his attentions on a South Yorkshire syndicate this year, keeping the SLK going in throughout, and recently got the reward his efforts warranted thanks to the capture of a true Yorkshire gem, an old, classic-looking common that tipped the scales at 37lb 4oz.
The fish gave itself up to an 18mm SLK Corker wafter that Tony fished amongst a three-kilo spread of 18mm SLK freebies.
